  • Each situation is unique, and I prayerfully consider every inquiry. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I look at each mother’s needs—whether she’s seeking postpartum care, birth support, or both—and how quickly that support is needed.

    Some moms may need just a few visits; others may walk a longer journey with me. My heart is to serve as many families as possible, especially those in their most vulnerable moments.

    As I’m able, I will share updates about the mothers being helped—because I want our community to see just how powerful and life-giving it is to stand behind new moms and babies. (Stories will always be shared anonymously unless the mother gives permission to share more.)

  • No, Ember of Light is not a nonprofit. This is a faith-driven business that allows me to both serve mothers with deep care and help provide for my family.

    However, when you donate to Ember of Light, your gift goes directly toward supporting pregnant and postpartum moms who cannot afford doula care on their own. Every dollar helps bring peace, support, and Christ-centered love to women in their most tender seasons.

    Doula care is so much more than physical support. It’s emotional and spiritual presence—someone walking beside her in both the sacred and the stretching moments of becoming a mother.

    The moms who can’t afford doula care are often the ones who need it the most. Some are single. Some are low-income or caring for other children. Others may have a partner, but simply can’t make room in the budget for the care they long for.
